The Bridget Metcalfe Jazz Quintet lights up St. Peter & St. Paul Church Arts Centre with a midsummer concert. The concert at this Stokesley Arts Centre promises soulful melodies and lively rhythms, set in a stunning acoustic environment. This event, a highlight of the town’s cultural calendar, is led by singer Bridget Metcalfe ( - BBC Radio presenter and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club) and features talented musicians including David Archbold (piano), Paul Donnelly (guitar) and Vilda Kuby (double bass). Joined by drums, percussion, and saxophones, the entire ensemble will perform superb jazz classics and contemporary pieces. Sit back and enjoy the intimate and electrifying atmosphere, making it a must-attend for jazz enthusiasts and casual listeners alike.

On the 1st Monday of every month, the ever-impressive 18-piece Saltburn Big Band fills the room with their exciting mix of jazz, swing, and Latin rhythms. They'll be joined by their stunning featured singer Bridget Metcalfe. You’re invited to get an intimate glimpse behind the scenes, where preparation meets spontaneity, complete with exciting starts, stops, and creative moments. Led by the dynamic Kev Eland, you’ll experience the real energy of live music-making, as they play and fine-tune their phenomenal repertoire. Whether you’re a music lover or just curious, watching the band’s process up close is both fun and insightful. This is one of SBB's open-rehearsal nights, so it's FREE ENTRY.
